FUTURE CONTINUOUS TENSE:

It is used to describe an action that will start in the future and continue for a period of time. 

AFFIRMATIVE/POSITIVE  

RULE—SUB+WILL+BE+V1+ING+OB 

FOR EXAMPLE 

  • will be planning a trip. 
  • He will be working hard. 
  • Girls will be dancing on Monday. 

NEGATIVE 

RULE—SUB+WILL+NOT+BE+V1+ING+OB 

FOR EXAMPLE 

  • They will not be helping poor people. 
  • She will not be working hard. 
  • Children will not be playing on the ground. 

INTERROGATIVE 

RULE— WILL+SUB+BE+V1+ING+OB? 

FOR EXAMPLE 

  • Will you be attending a party in the evening? 
  • Will they be traveling to Chandigarh? 
  • Will people be protesting against the government’s decision? 

INTERROGATIVE NEGATIVE  

RULE— WILL+SUB+NOT+BE+V1+ING+OB? 

FOR EXAMPLE 

  • Will the doctors not be treating the patients? 
  • Will students not be cheating in the examination hall? 
  • Will the police not be arresting the robbers?
