Task 2 : Many working people get little or no exercise either during the working day or in their free time, and have health problems as a result.
Why do so many working people not get enough exercise? What can be done about this problem?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Write at least 250 words.

Model Answer: 
Health problem in many working people is a direct result of lack of or the absence of exercise be being it during the working days or in their free time.

There are many reasons behind working not being able to get enough exercise. First and foremost, the jobs working are longer that takes up most of the person’s day. Some people works overtime which leaves them little or no free time at home. Secondly, the nature of the job could be high pressure which exhaust a person to a point where they are left with no energy to exercise.

Moreover, a person’s family life also plays a vital role in the lack of time one has in their hands to exercise. For an instance, a person would rather out for a meal with his family or attend social event instead of doing exercise. Stressful situations or personal struggles affect a person’s emotional state which in turn ruins the work-life balance.

This is the serious problem that must be addressed. Personally, I feel the concept of “Me Time” needs to be given more importance and awareness in people must be increased. As the saying goes, “a healthy body equals to a healthy mind” everyone must focus on themselves because physical and mental health go hand in hand. Exercise also helps in refreshing the mind from a mundane life and increases the person’s efficiency and energy. The best way to juggle a job and exercise is to set a personal target of exercising 4 days in a week so I plan my schedule accordingly. Everyone should dedicate a fixed amount of time during the day for exercise even if it is for a short period.

Balance in the key to a healthy life, be it one’s work, fitness or leisure. Time is the most precious thing humans have and how we use it to our advantage is what defines the quality of one’s life. One can have all the money in the world but it is useless if one is not healthy enough to enjoy it.

In conclusion, everyone should embrace and inculcate “Health Is Wealth” as their motto.
